          Filipinos are known for being joyful, humble, hospitable, courteous, loving, religious. Filipinos seem to have this magical power of finding a joke in almost every situation.

         We Filipinos will always find something to joke about even when in the middle of a crisis. I find this very usefull because with being jolly we don't tend to panic much and i think its a good thing.

         We mat nit be in the top 10 most happy country in the world, but we know how Filipinos go through hardships there will always be a joke about every where in forms of memes and many more.

Depression

              Many students this days are thinking that suicide is the only solution of their problems such as school requirements, family problems, because of their parents expectations. And many of them have no one to talk to, and keeps their problems for themselves.


               Depression is a mood disorder that causes a persistent feeling of sadness and loss of interest. Also called major depressive disorder or clinical depression, it affects how you feel, think and behave and can lead to a variety of emotional and physical problems.There is no single cause for depression; rather it's a combination of stress and a person's vulnerability to developing depression. The predisposition to developing depression can be inherited. Other biological causes for depression can include physical illness, the process of ageing and gender.It's often said that depression results from a chemical imbalance, but that figure of speech doesn't capture how complex the disease is. Research suggests that depression doesn't spring from simply having too much or too little of certain brain chemicals. Rather, there are many possible causes of depression, including faulty mood regulation by the brain, genetic vulnerability, stressful life events, medications, and medical problems. It's believed that several of these forces interact to bring on depression.

Reflection 4th

              This quarter we learned / reviewed how to use Photoshop and we also did test our skills in Photoshop and we created a cover of a book.

               This school year we will be graduating from junior high school and this school year was full of happiness. Sadly this is also the last quarter and last 3 months that we 10 Markov students will be with each other, and when this school year ends we may and may not be seeing each other again.

My Dream, My future

      To find a dream job, look for: Work you're good at, Work that helps others, Supportive conditions: engaging work that lets you enter a state of flow; supportive colleagues; lack of major negatives like unfair pay; and work that fits your personal life.

       In the near future we students will graduate and we have to pick our job now. But we can not guarantee it, maybe some of us will be jobless but now we need to do our best in order to achieve it.

High School Day celebration

            Before the school year ends in Ilocos Sur National High School, it celebrates its Foundation Day. And we celebrate this by dancing done by all grade levels.

             Foundation Day is a designated date on which celebrations mark the founding of a nation, state or a creation of a military unit. This day is for countries that came into existence without the necessity of gaining independence. Older countries that use some other event of special significance as their national day

Kannawidan

           Kannawidan is a variant of the ilocano word ''tawid'' meaning or inheritance. Another significant historical event was achieved by the people of Ilocos Sur as the maiden ''Kannawidan Ilocos'' Festival was succesfully held to showcase it's long time hidden talents and its old and indigineous costumes,traditions,cultures and products.

          As a part of it, there were also an artist who visited the Vigan Fiesta.Infact, they gave fun to others who watched them during the night that time. Unfortunately, I never watched all those events had arrived.

Change: it starts with me

         Change is inevitable in life. Everything around us is changing with the passage of time. Each individual get a change to bring a change in his life. Some welcome it with a smile as a challenge while other refute it and stick to their type routines.

        Changes can be categorized under two main types. Changes that take place in nature we have little or no control over. We cannot, for instance, switch the time of tides, which anyway, wait for no one. The other kind of change is the one we witness either in political, social or other fields including the area of personal life.

       Most people change because of something that had a great impact in ones life... and it may have good and bad effect in their life

Vigan City Fiesta Celeb.

          Vigan is a popular tourist destination because of its museums and architecture. Still, it is also known for its longganisa which is a local kind of salami. The dish is made in accordance with a century-old tradition and has a truly unique taste. Although there were several tries to replicate the combination of sliced spicy meat, sugarcane vinegar, and garlic, no one can compete with local chefs.

          The Vigan City Fiesta is held every January 25. It is celebrated during the feast day of the conversion of St. Paul the Apostle. St. Paul is Vigan City’s patron saint.

          During the festival, every tourist has a chance to try authentic longganisa from Vigan. Usually, local people eat salami for breakfast but the food itself is too good to be eaten during the morning hours only and at people watch street dancing activities.

          They celebrate it to reminisce about St. Paul's story and to think about the lesson and how to apply it in their life.

New Year New Me!

           New Year is the time or day at which a new calendar year begins and the calendar's year count increments by one. Many cultures celebrate the event in some manner and the 1st day of January is often marked as a national holiday.


           A New Year's resolution is a promise to yourself or decision to do something, esp to improve one's behavior or lifestyle in some way, during the year ahead. And most of us make one even though we fail and we do this because it is part of our tradition.


           My new Year's resolution is to only buy stuff's that I need and to prioritize my time. I may not be able to fulfill this but i am doing my best to do so.
