Many students this days are thinking that suicide is the only solution of their problems such as school requirements, family problems, because of their parents expectations. And many of them have no one to talk to, and keeps their problems for themselves.
Depression is a mood disorder that causes a persistent feeling of sadness and loss of interest. Also called major depressive disorder or clinical depression, it affects how you feel, think and behave and can lead to a variety of emotional and physical problems. There is no single cause for depression; rather it's a combination of stress and a person's vulnerability to developing depression. The predisposition to developing depression can be inherited. Other biological causes for depression can include physical illness, the process of ageing and gender. It's often said that depression results from a chemical imbalance, but that figure of speech doesn't capture how complex the disease is. Research suggests that depression doesn't spring from simply having too much or too little of certain brain chemicals. Rather, there are many possible causes of depression, including faulty mood regulation by the brain, genetic vulnerability, stressful life events, medications, and medical problems. It's believed that several of these forces interact to bring on depression.
